Every person owning or in charge of any residential premises in the City limits of Moundville, Alabama are subject to a garbage collection fee of Twenty-Three ($23.00) per month, per cart, for each residential household in the city limits. This fee shall be collected with the water and sewer bill. 
Waste Management collects all trash in The City Limits of Moundville. If you are in the city limits, your garbage will be picked up on Thursdays or Friday. Waste Managment ask for all customers to put cart at the curb the tonight before pick up. If there is a holiday, garbage will be picked up on Friday or Saturday. It is best to place your garbage cart at the curb on Wednesday evening. Garbage carts must be removed from the curb the day your garbage is picked up. 
When you apply for water, sewer, and garbage, the City will provide the first garbage cart. If the cart is damaged and needs repairs, please contact (205) 371-2642. If your residence is located outside the city limits in Hale County, you must contact Hale County Solid Waste (334) 624-4257 to setup your garbage service with them.
